Marlow Bridge Rotary Club

Welcome to Marlow Bridge Rotary Club!

Marlow Bridge Rotary Club (MBRC) is a progressive, project-based, local community club, with multi-generational appeal, all backed by Rotary.  We are keen to develop the club further and are delighted for new members and volunteers to come and join us!

MBRC was formed in Marlow in 2016, and is welcoming members from across the community. We are committed to making a meaningful contribution to the town by supporting carefully selected local community projects. We normally have many events and activities throughout the year and our members build lasting personal friendships and useful business connections too!  With the COVID-19 Crisis upon us, we have reformatted how we operate and as a result have a range of opportunities for members and volunteers to help us support a wide cross-section of the community in Marlow and local area.

Community is something that has always meant a lot to me, having that support however small is special.  Living in Marlow for 11 years, I have come to love our community and the huge variety that comes with it. The Golden thread that runs through the community of Marlow has to be our 3 Rotary clubs.  I have been involved with Rotary for many many years; opening sensory playgrounds, speaking at conferences, the infamous Santa Fun Run warm up and much more… Rotary is the ultimate community with a very unique spirit so I am truly proud to associated with them, in particular Marlow Bridge Rotary Club.   A young club with a big personality that strives to make a difference every day. See you all soon...

In light of the continuing progress of COVID-19 (Corona virus) and declarations from the Government and World Health organisation, we decided to temporarily suspend our events and face to face meetings until further notice.

To carry on with our projects we are still holding our club meetings virtually - so please join us!

We would be delighted if you would like to join us to experience our Rotary Club in action. We promise to make you feel most welcome!  We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, normally at The George and Dragon just off Marlow High Street.  However, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 we are currently meeting virtually via Zoom at 6:30pm.

The 2nd Tuesday is a Members' Club Development Meeting along with second-time visitors keen to learn more about MBRC and our community projects.  The 4th Tuesday is our Open Meeting, where our Members welcome visitors and guests for a less formal meeting, normally along with a presentation and overall updates on the club.

For more information on MBRC or to join us for a Zoom meeting, please call Paul Bolton, Club President on 07762 323901 or email Paul at pauljbolton@hotmail.co.uk
