Marlow Library reopening 05 December after refurbishment... MMDF has a long-term relationship with Marlow Library and in fact MMDF’s informal HQ is based at the Library in Institute Road, Marlow. Alongside the recent refurbishment, we have been very pleased to assist Janet Webb, Library Operations Manager, in helping make the Library dementia friendly. This includes a specific area with books, games, leaflets and somewhere to sit for people living with Dementia, their carers and family. With the refurbishment works complete, it is great to see Marlow Library opening its doors again today, providing such superb new facilities for the whole community from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. Here is the announcement from Library Manager, Michelle Sandalls. Your local library now has a smart new look throughout, with a bigger and brighter children's space plus lots of comfortable seating and plenty of lovely new books. We offer upgraded computer facilities, a new meeting room, self-service technology and loanable tablets to use within the library. There are surprises for children and adults including the sensory StoryWall® and original art by Kirsty Harris, so we look forward to welcoming you soon. In order to ensure social distancing, a maximum of 12 visitors will be allowed in the library at any one time. So to avoid disappointment and ensure your place on our opening day, please use our online booking system to book your individual 30-minute slot. You can book online or you can of course turn up on the day, but due to social distancing measures you may need to queue before entering.
